Amazon has established a comprehensive set of regulations and policies for sellers on its platform in the United States. These regulations are designed to ensure a fair and secure marketplace for both sellers and buyers.
Seller Code of Conduct
Amazon requires all sellers to adhere to a strict code of conduct, which includes maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of customer information, honoring transaction conditions, and not manipulating ratings, feedback, or product rankings.
Efficient Logistics
Sellers must accurately describe products, list them in the correct category, and must not list prohibited items. Misleading or inaccurate product information is not allowed.

Amazon shipping cartons requirement
Amazon has specific requirements for shipping cartons used to send inventory to its fulfillment centers.
Here are some key requirements:
Box Dimensions
Boxes containing multiple units must not exceed 25 inches on any side. Boxes that are not palletized should not weigh more than 50 pounds. However, a box can weigh up to 60 pounds if the product's weight makes it necessary. Any single box that exceeds 50 pounds must be marked as "Team Lift" on the top and sides.
Box Condition
Boxes must be sturdy, without any damage, and suitable
for transport. They should be properly sealed with shipping tape.
Packing Material
Use bubble wrap, full sheets of paper, or inflatable air pillows to protect the items inside the box. Do not use styrofoam peanuts, shredded paper, or any other loose fill material as they can damage the products and the warehouse equipment.
Labelling
Each box must have a unique FBA shipment label printed from your Shipping Queue. Do not include any other scannable barcodes on the box to prevent confusion during the inbound process.
Palletized Shipments
If you are sending palletized shipments, there are additional requirements. Pallets must be standard four-way access wooden pallets (40x48 inches), and the total height (including the pallet) must not exceed 72 inches. Each carton in a pallet must belong to a single shipment ID.
Sold as Set
If you are shipping products that are sold as a set (like a bundle), they must be marked as "Sold as set" or "Ready to Ship" to avoid being separated.
Box Content Information
Sellers must provide box content information for each box sent to Amazon's Fulfillment Centers. This can be done by either printing 2D barcodes or providing a packing list.
Remember that these requirements are designed to protect your products and ensure efficient processing of your shipment at the Amazon fulfillment center. Failure to comply with these requirements could result in refusal of inventory at the fulfillment center, disposal or return of inventory, blocking of future shipments to the fulfillment center, or charging for preparation or for noncompliance at the fulfillment center.
Amazon's policies and requirements may change, so it's always a good idea to refer to their official documentation for the most up-to-date information. This information can be found in the FBA Help section in Amazon Seller Central.
